It's Friday........
Gotta love Friday's.......I am totally looking forward to relaxing this weekend. It has been so hectic the past few weeks. And then spending last week sick...really wasn't fun. So yes, I am sooo looking forward to my weekend to just chill. It should be nice and quiet (hopefully) Ric will be in NY for a few days and me and Jake are gonna hang out!

1st Day of 2nd Grade!
Well the 1st day of school was a success! Jake seemed really excited this year and even more so that he knew half the kids in his new 2nd grade class. He even wanted to walk in all by himself....but we know that wasn's gonna happen!

Jake found his new seat quickly and likes the fact that he is the head of the table....

It was really great to see Jake so excited this year about 2nd grade. He even had me drop him off in the car line on the 2nd day of school....Yep, he's growin' up on me.

Baby Show Gift
This is an album that I did for my sister-in-law for her baby shower.....This will be our first niece in the family of ALL boys!
School starting.....
Well it's almost here...school will be starting this coming Monday. It's almost bittersweet - on one hand the relaxing lazy days of summer are coming to an end and I will miss that but on the other hand - Jake will be getting back into his structured days..... which also means homework and projects, school events and whatnot. I'm just hoping that he will have a great year in 2nd grade - I know that this is when things start to change for kids they are expected to do so much more and the "structure" of things changes. I know he will do OK but I also think that he is just growing up way to fast for all of this. Just keeping my fingers crossed that he will have a nurturing awesome teacher this year that will make it a great year for him. We get to meet his new teacher today - nothing like a little anxiety to get the day started!

Finally feel somewhat caught up...
It took me forever to catch up from traveling in July. Between the traveling and the ungodly heat wave we've been having...all I wanna do is SLEEP! I dont know about anyone else but I could just sleep for days.....But anyhoo
Got my hands on the new Dream Street that just came out...all I can say is GORGEOUS! They really did an awesome job on the new papers they are soooo beautiful. You can check them out here

Also lovin' the chipboard albums that you can put together. Started working on one of those for my sister-in-laws baby shower - talk about quick to do and it looks great. Hopefully I will get it done over the next few days and get it posted. Speaking of posting we are trying to get Layout forum for Scrapbook Central so that we can post our Layouts in kind of a gallerish forum. Looking forward to that too...can't wait to see what all the girls are doing these days. Check out the site at . It's a great site not too mention a FANTASTIC little store!
Well...this is the last week of summer camp....then Jake has a full week off before school begins again. I am really torn...I am looking forward to getting back into the school routine but then again I am a nervous wreck about Jake starting 2nd grade - and I am even more nervous of who his teacher will be this year. Keeping my fingers crossed that he will get the teacher we requested.
Well...I guess I should finish working....Have a great day.
