I live in Sunny Florida with my husband of almost 19 years, our wonderful, totally handsome, overly active 12 year old son Jake and our golden retriever - lab mix Mack. I recently joined the quilting world and have been competely sucked in! I love to stalk I mean browse blogs, I love to hoard I mean collect fabric :) I love every bit of it and I love seeing everyone else's beautiful creations! So welcome to my little land of craftiness. Kick back, grab a cup of coffee and enjoy. And by all means please enable me...I mean let me know of any must see blogs :)
Jake was SOOO excited today, he is going with his camp to see the new movie Surf's Up! It looks super cute can't wait to see if he liked it. I am just glad that he was excited to be going. He has been giving us a hard time about going to the movies lately....I think it's a dark thing....But maybe if he goes a few times with the camp kids he won't be so freaked out!
Well totally looking forward to the weekend. Not too much going on but still looking forward to it.
What a gloomy wednesday...days like this should be spent curled up in bed with a really good book.....But alas...I am sitting at work looking out my window at this miserable dreary day. We do need it though with the drought everything has been dying, this will definitly perk some of the landscape up.
Jake is at camp and cannot stand when it thunders...hopefully the camp counselors are helping him through the thunder.....This day cannot go by fast enough for me to pick him up.
On another note....one of the Design Team members started a june stamp month for layouts to be done. Kind of looking forward to this. I have been collecting alot more stamps lately and havent really had the opportunity to use them as much as I would like to....so hopefully this little stamp challenge will get things going.
Well here is the latest creation, hopefully I can get the energy up to get some more done. Loved using this Bo-Bunny line can't wait to use some of the others from the line.
I have been working like a dog lately and getting home much later than usual so it's been hard to get myself moving on the scrap stuff. Hopefully with summer here it will slow down a bit and I will have some more time to work on stuff.
We finally booked our summer vacation to New York. I cannot wait to go I love Long Island...it so laid back and quiet its such a welcomed change from here. We are planning on going into the city one day and I think that we may actually take the kiddos! But yes...I am looking forward to the time away.....
