I'm still here...

Ironically... It's been a year to the day of

my last blog post... Sad but true!

But I am still here... It's been a very busy year for us here at the Friedberg household.

Jake started the 5th grade this year (sniff...sniff) and soccer

season started which has pretty much sucked the little bit of spare time I had to myself out.

Work has been hectic...

Life has been hectic...

I went on a hiatus from scrapbooking for a year... It's been a year since I have done anything scrapbook related. I'm still trying to put my finger on why I took the break but the best thing I can come up with was maybe a little bit overwhelmed and little mix of uninspired....

Still not quite sure but for now that is was I'm going with.

So... I finally actually sat down and did a layout...

I just recently turned '40" yes the big 4-0....

Wasn't quite sure how I was feeling about it but now I am actually feeling pretty good about it. I am happy, healthy, have a great family and on some days don't think I look 40. So I did my first layout in over a year on my turning 40... I enjoyed doing it and working with scrappy stuff again but most of all I enjoyed being able to journal (which not usually a huge fan of) my thoughts and feelings on turning 40.
