Back home......

Here are a few pics from our trip to New York. We had a really great time. The kids loved the "smalltown USA" parade on the 4th...they had such a blast. They got balloons, flags and a boatload of candy (mommy enjoyed the candy too....). It was a nice change from what we normally do here in florida. We usually just sit outside or go to the local park down the street and watch the fireworks. So Jake was especially excited because the parade had a ton of classic cars, tractors and fire engines.

We took Jake and Leanne into the "City" and they had a blast. Jake LOVED all the transporatation stuff. We took the LLRI train into the city and then we took taxi's and the subway all over. Jake was in his glory. We went to Toys R Us....Loved the Ferris wheel inside, we went to Build A Bear, Mars 2112 (super cool) and tons and tons of shopping. Overall...a great trip. Now if we didnt have to actually fly on a plane the vaca would have been perfect.....
